Upon the successful completion of a phlebotomy training course individuals are eligible to sit for a certification exam.  A certification exam is offered by a credentialing body established to deem individuals competent of their phelebotomy skill set and ready to work in a phlebotomy postion. The cost of certification is most often included in the class registration fee and/or may be charged separetly dependent upon the training institute.

The successful completion of a phlebotomy course along with a phlebotomy certificate provides you with the confidence needed to enter the workforce of health care. Phlebotomists are well respected in their trade and are often relied upon by Doctors, Surgeons, Nurses and Emergency Responders. Phlebotomists earn anywhere from $10-15$ with the opportunity to vary from employer to employer.  Phlebotomists also have the leisure of day and night shifts with the opportunity for shift differential.
